St Audrys ahead at Half-time
Every year St Audrys STAGS play St Clements Seniors home and away, for the Hospitals Cup. Using Hambro scoring, where all 18 holes are played regardless of result, the winning team is decided on the aggregate score over the home and way matches.
The first match this year was played at St Audrys on 9th April, when St Audrys ran out winners by 23 holes, to hold a substantial, but not insurmountable, lead at the half-way stage. The highlight of the day was the 11 hole victory by Tony Rhodes and John Chapman. Please don't mention this to Tony, as he doesn't like to talk about it.
The return leg is at St Clements on 24th August.
