Ladies' Christmas Social
Ladies in the Christmas Spirit
What a fantastic turnout for our 10-hole Christmas Social, with 45 ladies taking part! Everyone embraced the festive spirit, sporting Christmas jumpers and hats, which made the day feel wonderfully Christmassy - despite the less-than-kind weather.
The competition format was a team of three (low, mid, high), reverse waltz with jokers on each hole, so we all had to keep our wits about us throughout.
Results:
1st - Lynn Lambert, Janice Mansfield, Antonia Kennedy - 55 Pts c/b
2nd - Carol Wigham, Di Parr, Gillian Pollington - 55 Pts
3rd - Jackie Ewing, Sue Harrsion, Helle Aabech - 54 pts
A huge thank you to Jackie Ewing for organising such a great event, ably assisted by her little helper Lynn, and to Tabby in the office for preparing the cards. We finished off with our usual group Christmas photo.
