Congratulations to Greg Simpole who led the 8 qualifiers into the knockout stage of this competition with a superb 41 points (equating to a gross 78 off his old 10.7 handicap index!).
Commiserations must go out to Chris Burns who, with a very credible 37pts, was just pipped on countback to make the knock out stages.
A 2s sweep was run by your competitions committee on the day with £40 worth of balls each being won by Dan Loria and James Marchant - another 3 2s were recorded but alas entry was not made by the players recording them (you've got to be in it to win it!).
A special mention must be made to the albatross 2 made by Darren Humphries on the 18th. - a rare feat indeed!
