Ladbrook Park were the hosts for our second match of the season . Always a favourite with Maxstoke members and the course didn't disappoint, despite it still recovering from the wet winter.

A convincing win for Darryl Shepherd and Paul Brattle set the scene for some good golf and the final outcome was a fair 3 - 3 draw. Chris Mumford won the nearest pin competition for MPGC members.

An excellent meal of Steak pie, chips and peas followed by apple crumble and custard was enjoyed by all.

We look forward to the return fixture at Maxstoke in September.
