The winners in the inaugural year of 2019 was the South - 2020 & 2021 not played because of the pandemic - 2022 the North won & in 2023 it was the South again, captained by Adrian Dodds.
This year the captains were Graeme Derby (North) & myself (South) & 6 well matched pairs battled it out. The result was a 3-3 draw (South won the first 2 matches, the North the following 3 & the South the last match) Ideally the match should be for 7 pairs, but the draw meant that the South retain the trophy as holders.
This was played in a good spirit, & some nice banter & a couple of beers followed the duel in the sun!
