While the weather is still not how we would like it, there have been some better signs recently and the Greenkeepers have managed to get onto the course to mow some of the fairways some semi rough and the tees. With warmer weather coming we will have more grass growth so the team are hoping to recruit someone very soon to help with mowing a couple of days a week. Watch out for a new face on the fairways.

For those of you who have not made it round to the 17th you are missing out! The green is in a lot better condition. Since the felling of a significant number of trees, with additional chemical treatments, more light can get to the green and the results are apparent.

The bunkers have been trimmed around and await some new sand (when it is dry enough to get on the areas around them)

The 9th green unfortunately, still has a drainage problem. This will be addressed once the green has dried out enough to enable us to relay the drain.

If you have any suggestions on improvements to the course please let us know. We are aiming to present a course for all our members that is both a pleasure and a challenge to enjoy

Hoping for continued improvements and seeing more of you back on the course in the very near future.
