Thacker Cup (Mens Club Championship)
Congratulations to Eddie Barnes!
Many thanks to those members who entered the Club Championship yesterday (36 hole scratch medal) for the chance to win the Thacker Cup. Nine players took part, playing 18 holes in the morning - followed by a short break with bacon rolls supplied by Lesley - then another 18 holes in the afternoon. Many congratulations to the winners:-
1st Place - Eddie Barnes with 152 (75 + 77) & winner of the Club Trophy (pictured left with Mark Sheppard)
2nd Place - Ivan Green with 159 (78 + 81)
3rd Place - Chris Souter with 160 (73 + 87)
Craig Starling was the winner of the nett prize with an overall nett 118 just winning on countback from Olly Manning who also had a nett 118.
